All items offered here are hand crocheted by me.
I have been crocheting for about 40 years and am certified as a crochet instructor by the Craft Yarn Council of America.
Initially, as a young child, my grandmother taught me how to crochet, starting with Granny Squares. She taught me the basics and I took it from there, teaching myself how to read patterns and do more complicated stitches. I have completed the Craft Yarn Council of America's Level 2 certification as a crochet instructor.
I find crochet relaxing and I almost always have a project along to work on whenever I find myself with idle hands: at the doctor's office, at my children's sports practices, at the bus stop, etc.
Friends and family often told me how impressed they were with the many hand crocheted items I would give as gifts, but with all boys in my family there are only so many crocheted items they will appreciate.
There were many projects I wanted to try, but which I would have no use for and no one to give them to, so a few years ago I began selling items to friends and neighbors to help support my crochet habit. My inventory has grown quite extensive, so at the urging of many, I am now expanding to offer my hand crocheted items on the web.
